- Teaching Certificate Program in conjunction with the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Pharmacy (optional).
- Resident Research Certificate in conjunction with the Greater Kansas City Society of Health-System Pharmacists (GKCSHP) (optional)
- Completion of Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support training and certification (required)
- Staffing (longitudinal - required)
- Weekends - every other weekend in an operational or clinical role (Residents are eligible for a compensatory day off following a staffing weekend)
- Holidays - (one major and one minor holiday)

Length of Program: 12 months (starting the last full week in June)
Number of Positions: 4 PGY1 positions
Accreditation Status: Accredited

Requirements
- Hold a degree from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education accredited school of pharmacy
- Possess a Missouri pharmacist license within 90 days of beginning of the residency year
Application process
Research Medical Center will manage the application process for its pharmacy residency programs through ASHP's PhORCAS (Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application) process. Candidates must submit the following materials through PhORCAS by January 3rd:
- Letter of Intent
- Curriculum vitae
- Three completed reference forms
- College transcripts
All completed applications will be reviewed and the most qualified applicants will be invited for on-site interviews in February.
