Amy D. Wald, APRN, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with Family Care of Arborwalk in Lee’s Summit, MO. She is affiliated with Lee’s Summit Medical Center.

Amy is a passionate patient advocate with experience making diagnoses, developing treatment plans and referring patients to specialists as needed. She is highly skilled at managing chronic conditions, such as high blood pressure, diabetes and others, as well as caring for patients with acute illnesses.

My role as a provider is one of partnership, as I strive to guide my patients in choosing lifestyle behaviors, treatments, and therapies they are agreeable with and which can help them meet their healthcare goals. I believe nursing is more than just a profession, it is a privilege granted to us by our patients, and taken upon by people passionate about using their knowledge, skills, and experience to help others. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I hope to have the unique privilege of caring for my patients throughout a large part of their life.
