About Adam Swiger, DO
Biography
Dr. Adam J. Swiger is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He completed his medical education at the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then went on to complete a general surgery residency at Western Reserve Health Education/Northeast Ohio Medical University. He also completed an advanced minimally invasive and bariatric surgery fellowship at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City.
He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the Society of American Gas

Care Philosophy
Dr. Swiger treats his patients with the utmost compassion and attention to details. His approach aims to maximize patient safety, improve quality of life, and minimize the potential risks associated with more aggressive procedures. He has interests in minimally invasive surgical procedures and has been fellowship trained in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery using the da Vinci Robot. His main focus of interest involves: diseases of the colon, small intestine, and stomach; reflux disease (GERD), hiatal hernia repair, spleen, gallbladder, hernia, and appendix.
