About Matthew Mackay, MD
Dr. Mackay has a primary interest in sports medicine with a special interest in arthroscopic and open treatment of knee and shoulder pathology. Originally from Amarillo, Texas, he earned his undergraduate degree at Baylor University and his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He then went on to complete a residency in orthopedic surgery at The University of Kansas Health System, at which time Kansas City became home.
