About Matthew Cullen, DO
Biography
Dr. Cullen is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. As a Kansas City native, he is excited to be joining Sano Orthopedics. He graduated with honors from Northwest Missouri State University. Dr. Cullen then obtained his medical degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine. He was then fortunate enough to stay in Kansas City where he completed his orthopedic surgery residency training at the Kansas City University of Medicine/St. Mary's Orthopedic Surgery
Care Philosophy
Dr. Cullen believes that medical care should be personalized and tailored to each individual patient. He takes an evidence-based approach to formulating either a conservative or surgical treatment plan based on the patient's individual needs. His goal is to restore function and improve quality of life allowing patients to pursue their passions.
